Upholstery
Light Soiling
- A solution of 10% household liquid soap with warm water applied with a sift damp cloth.
- If necessary, a solution of liquid cleanser with water applied with soft bristle brush. Wipe away the residue with a water dampened cloth.
Heavier Soiling
- Dampen a soft white cloth with a solution of household bleach 10% bleach, 90% water. Test on a hidden area of upholstery.
- Rub gently, then rinse with a water damped cloth to remove bleach concentrate.
Frames
- Wipe down all frames using a mild solution of warm water and car wash soap.
- Be sure to dry thoroughly. Avoid acid or chlorine based cleaners and also cleaners containing abrasive as these scratch or damage equipment.
Chromes
- Clean chrome tubes, first using polish and then using a car wax seal.
- Neutral cleaners with PH between 5.5 and 8.5 are recommended. Be sure to dry thoroughly. Avoid acid or chlorine based cleaners and also cleaners containing abrasives as these scratch or damage the equipment.
Guide Rods
- Spray WD40 to a soft, dry cloth and rub along the guide rod to remove any dirt / grease / oil.
- Apply multi purpose oil to a clean soft dry cloth and wipe along the guide rod to lubricate (do not drip oil directly onto guide rod).
- A dry teflon spray lubricant may be used instead of oil.
